Mango started kayaking on the coast line of his hometown in New Bedford, MA back in the spring of 2008 and life for this 27 year old New Englander hasn’t quite been the same since. After his first kayak camping trip in Acadia National Park on the Downeast coast of Maine, he was hooked on the sport and was ready to try and make a career out of this new found passion.  Over the past 5 year, his travels in a sea kayak have taken him all over the East coast of the US including extensive trips on the bold coast of Maine, The Florida Keys, The Florida Everglades and countless places in between.  When he is not in his kayak, you can probably find him paddling around the back waters somewhere on his paddleboard or trying to surf some waves on his waveski.  Mango is our paddleboard instructor as well as an ACA certified kayak instructor and guide. Becoming an outdoor guide and leading multi-day kayak camping trips into the Florida Everglades is his latest endeavor. From tropical beaches, to alligator filled creeks and a never ending maze of mangrove tunnels, Mango can take you on a camping trip that you won’t soon forget.
